ACCESSIBILITY

ACCESS

Access to the craft school via the main entrance is at street level. There is a small step of  approximately 4cm at the threshold of the main entrance. The bathroom facilities are accessible by wheelchair, and located two stories below the school, accessible by lift. There is a second accessible entrance on Millrow, and the school is accessible by lift from this level. 

If you have any specific access requirements that you would like to discuss please don’t hesitate to get in touch on hello@scottishcraftschool.com. You are welcome to visit the school in advance of your workshop, or before booking.

DISABLED PARKING

The nearest dedicated disabled bay to the main entrance is approximately 100 yards away on the High Street. The craft studio is on the same level as the main entrance. There is a small step of  approximately 4cm at the threshold of the main entrance. Alternative disabled parking is available at Mill Row Car Park. From Mill Row the accessible entrance to the school is via the back door situated on Millrow. You can gain access from this level using the buzzer system, and the school two stories above is accessible by lift.

STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES

We welcome students with disabilities however some class activities do require a degree of co-ordination, physical effort and good eyesight. We are very happy to arrange a visit or phonecall to ascertain any additional access or support requirements prior to booking. Please contact us if you have any questions.
