Join us for a fantastic peg loom weaving workshop with Stephanie Fradette, the author of The Playful Pegloom, and create a beautiful woven wall hanging for your home. There has been a definite renaissance on how we interact with textiles, how we use it in the home and how we decorate with them. Looking at the ancient craft of peg loom weaving, you will learn a new and accessible way to incorporate textured and modern woven elements into your home by creating a woven wall hanging. The versatility of this woven fibre artwork really makes this project. We’ll learn a variety of different techniques as we create an abstract peg loom sampler. You can create your own colourful composition to suit your taste, match your room decor, and add a touch of soft colour to any space. All tools will be provided for use during the peg loom weaving workshop, and you will have a variety of quality yarns in a spectrum of colours and textures to choose from. Your loom is yours to keep at the end of the day so you can use it to put all your new skills into practise. You can even pick up a copy of Stephanies book The Playful Pegloom in our gallery on your way out!
