Join us for a crash course in knitting for compete beginners! In this workshop we’ll teach you all you need to know to make yourself some unique new cushions for your home. First we will learn how to cast on, knit, purl and cast off – all the essentials you need to get started. Along the way we will also learn a variety of new stitches to add texture and how to change colours too. Over this two day workshop you we’ll encourage you to explore your playful side and mix colours to create something truly eye catching. Over the weekend we’ll aim to complete at least one cushion and learn decorative techniques to embellish it with the help of your tutor. We’ll also give you detailed printed instructions to take home so that you can embark more projects at home.
